Who Am I?

Hey there, fellow animal lovers! I'm Kayla Boutwell, a passionate advocate for our furry friends and a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College. My journey into the world of pet care and training began back in 2019 when I started walking and boarding dogs on the popular app, Rover. Caring for dogs brought me immense joy, sparking a desire to delve deeper into the realm of dog training. 

 

In July 2019, I took the leap and enrolled in a comprehensive Dog Training program, dedicating myself to honing my skills and knowledge in this field. After two years of hard work and dedication, I proudly graduated in August 2021, having completed my hands-on training at Harvard’s K-9 Center and volunteering at the East Alabama Humane Society along the way.

 

In September 2021, I embarked on a new chapter by launching my own dog training business. Balancing my passion with a daytime job, I devoted my evenings and weekends to working with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to seasoned seniors. By February 2022, the demand for my services had grown to the point where I transitioned to full-time dog training, allowing me to dedicate myself fully to helping pets and their owners thrive. But my journey didn't stop there! 

 

In September 2022, I made the decision to expand my expertise by enrolling in a Cat Training program. After a year of intensive study and practical experience, I proudly graduated in July 2023, having completed my hands-on training at the Lee County Humane Society. 

 

Today, I continue to follow my passion for helping pets live their best lives, whether through obedience training, behavior modification, or simply providing love and care. I'm grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of animals and their devoted owners every day.
