Why should you use Kayla’s Dog & Cat Training?

  • I train dogs and cats out of my love and passion for them. I enjoy educating people about their pets and their behavior. I use toys, treats, and praise during training.

What methods do you use to train?

  • I use positive and negative reinforcement.

What tools do you use?

  • I use flat collars, prong collars, slip leashes, and e-collars. I make sure I will explain how the equipment works and I get permission before any equipment is used.

Do you train dogs and cats of any breed, age and size?

  • Yes! I train any over 8 weeks old.

Can you help with an aggressive dog?

  • Unfortunately I do not have the certification for aggression/reactivity dog training at this time.

What type of class settings do you teach?

  • I teach private lessons in the comfort of your own home or we can meet at Town Creek Park. I also offer group classes and private online lessons.

What are the advantages of private in-home dog training?

  • You have my undivided attention and I have the ability to see everything that is going right and wrong. I can see the setup you have for your dog and help you solve the problems you are having in the house and yard.

How quickly can I expect to see results?

  • Most of my clients see progress right away, but some problem behaviors take longer to stop than others.

Can you guarantee the training will stick?

  • No, if you do not maintain their training, then they may regress.

What’s your #1 dog and cat training tip?

  • Consistent training and keeping the rules and reward clear is key to a great relationship with your pet.
